Who is this one-day jungle trek suitable for?

When is this trek right for you, and when should you consider another one?

This trek is ideal for those interested in learning about jungle life without staying overnight. Families with children accustomed to walking should find it manageable as well.
If you’re a physically fit nature lover looking to explore the Sumatran jungle in more depth, check out our range of overnight, two-day, three-day, four-day or five-day treks.

Note: If you are a solo traveler and prefer not to pay for an additional person, we can assign you to another group upon request. 

 

Price: €90 / person

Participants per trip:
  • Minimum  : 2 people
  • Maximum : 8 people
 
Price, Inclusions, and Payment Terms
How much does the trek cost, and what are the payment and cancellation policies?
  • Certified English-speaking guide
  • National park permit
  • Fresh fruit
  • Large bottle of water
  • Lunch (local food)
  • WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED
 
Traditional rafting after the trek can be added for a fee of 10 EUR per person.
 
PAYMENT TERMS
Deposit: 30% of the total price by one of the payment methods listed below.
Balance: Before the start of the trek in cash or one of the payment methods listed below.
 
POSSIBLE PAYMENT METHODS
Transfer to Indonesian bank account   : We only use SWIFT, not IBAN, but if you have Revolut, the transfer is possible.
Card                                                            : We use Stripe to enable secure payment via link. Neither we nor anyone else can see your                                                                           payment card details.
                                                                      A regular card, Apple Pay or Google Pay can be used for payment.
Revolut                                                       : Payment between Revolut accounts or from Revolut to our Indonesian bank account.
PayPal                                                        : A 3% transaction fee will be added to PayPal payments. The other payment methods                                                                                   mentioned above are free.
CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
10 or more days before the trek            : Full refund of the deposit. 
3 to 10 days before the trek                   : 50% refund of the deposit. 0 to 2 days before the trek: Deposit forfeited.
By trek operator                                        : Full refund of the deposit.
 
Note: For serious reasons for cancellation, such as an accident, you will receive a full refund upon presenting the relevant receipts, regardless of when you cancel.
 
What You Will Need for the Trek
We provide basic equipment and supplies for the trek as described above. To enhance your comfort, we also recommend bringing:
  • Waterproof backpack
  • Shoes suitable for walking
  • Flip-flops
  • Insect repellent
  • Sunscreen
  • Higher socks (for leech protection)
  • Raincoat
  • Swimwear
  • Towel
  • Toilet paper
